The Sailor Pen is one of Japan’s leading fountain pen brands. It was founded in 1911 in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture.
The brand is known for its uncompromising craftsmanship in nib manufacturing. It has developed unique technologies such as the rare 21K gold nib and specialized nibs represented by the “Naginata Togi.”
Another key feature is its stable ink flow achieved through a highly refined feed system. Sailor fountain pens are highly regarded by enthusiasts for their smooth and consistent writing performance.
This fountain pen features a stainless steel nib finished with the same level of care as gold nibs, combined with a metal grip that provides weight and stability.
Based on Sailor’s signature “1911” series, this fountain pen is manufactured in Japan. Each nib is hand-finished, allowing for smooth and stable writing similar to that of a gold nib. The stainless steel nib is less affected by writing pressure, enabling consistent line width.
The grip section is made of brass, creating a low center of gravity with added weight toward the nib side. By utilizing the pen’s weight, it offers a stable writing experience even with light pressure, making it suitable for extended writing sessions. The nib and grip section are finished with gold IP plating, giving the appearance of a gold nib.
This fountain pen combines practicality with excellent cost performance. Only the black body is available at our store.

Use only Sailor fountain pen ink. The nib of this product is specially processed to produce a unique color tone. Malfunctions or damage caused by the use of non-Sailor inks are not covered under warranty, and repair or replacement may incur additional charges.
- Dropping the pen or subjecting it to strong impact may damage the nib or barrel.
- If not used for an extended period, remove the ink and clean the pen.
