Sakae Technical Paper is a Japanese manufacturer engaged in the planning, manufacturing, processing, and sales of paper products primarily for the stationery market. The company provides practical paper products for stationery enthusiasts in Japan and overseas. As a distributor for Tomoegawa Paper, SAKAE uses the company’s Tomoe River paper to develop products in formats suitable for writing purposes.

This product is a set of 100 loose sheets made from Tomoe River FP 52gsm produced by Sanzen Paper. The sheets are unbound, allowing you to use them individually as needed. Tomoe River paper is thin and lightweight, yet highly resistant to ink bleed-through and feathering, making it popular among fountain pen and ink enthusiasts. Its surface properties allow ink colors and shading to appear clearly.

With production now by Sanzen Paper, the fibers are more uniform, providing improved smoothness and sizing for minimal ink bleed. The paper offers a smooth writing experience with just the right amount of resistance. The “FP” in Tomoe River FP stands for Fountain Pen, indicating the paper is designed for fountain pen use.

Available in two colors (White and Cream) and two sizes (A4 and A5).
