Utilizing its ink-making expertise, the company developed products such as liquid ink, brush pens, and markers. It holds a top-class share of the brush pen market in Japan. Today, centered on the value of handwriting, Kuretake has expanded into the art and craft field as well as overseas markets.    Kuretake’s Mannen Mouhitsu fountain brush pen series transforms the expressive qualities of traditional brush writing into an everyday writing instrument.
While preserving the variation and rhythm unique to brush lettering, the cartridge ink system and replaceable brush tip allow users to enjoy a stable, consistent writing experience over time.

“Yume Ginga” is an authentic fountain brush pen featuring a tip made from natural weasel hair, known for its flexibility and ability to create expressive line variation.
The barrel incorporates urushi lacquer, natural materials, and Makie decoration, giving the pen the presence of a craft piece while remaining a practical writing tool. It is also suitable as a gift.

“Makie Monogatari – Shidare Sakura” is a model decorated using the traditional Japanese Makie technique, depicting gracefully cascading cherry blossom branches.
The elegant weeping cherry design stands out against the lustrous black lacquer barrel, adding a subtle touch of brilliance to its calm appearance.
Its refined presence evokes Japan’s seasons and sense of beauty.

“Makie Monogatari – Akafuji” expresses Mount Fuji glowing red in the morning sun through traditional Makie craftsmanship.
The vermilion-toned Fuji motif stands boldly against the glossy black lacquer barrel, bringing a dignified presence within a sense of stillness.
Its striking appearance reflects Japanese views of nature and aesthetics.
