The Sailor Pen is one of Japan’s leading fountain pen brands. It was founded in 1911 in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture.
The brand is known for its uncompromising craftsmanship in nib manufacturing. It has developed unique technologies, including the rare 21K gold nib and specialized nibs such as the “Naginata Togi.”
Another key feature is its stable ink flow achieved through a highly refined feed system. Sailor fountain pens are widely supported by enthusiasts for their smooth and consistent writing performance.
“RENCONTRE” is a fountain pen with a 14K gold nib, based on Sailor’s PROFESSIONALGEAR Slim Mini. It features a marble-patterned body created by combining two colors of resin, and no two pens share the same pattern. Each piece offers a unique appearance.
Its compact size makes it easy to carry and suitable for use with notebooks and planners. When the cap is posted on the back of the barrel, it provides a comfortable writing length.
