The Sailor Pen is one of Japan’s leading fountain pen brands. It was founded in 1911 in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture.
The brand is known for its uncompromising craftsmanship in nib manufacturing. It has developed unique technologies such as the rare 21K gold nib and specialized nibs represented by the “Naginata Togi.”
Another key feature is its stable ink flow achieved through a highly refined feed system. Sailor fountain pens are widely appreciated by enthusiasts for their smooth and consistent writing performance.
The “TUZU ADJUST Forge Fountain Pen” is the latest model in the TUZU series, featuring a nib rotation mechanism that allows for fine adjustment, combined with a metallic luster finish (released in November 2025).
The TUZU series allows you to rotate the nib to adjust the angle according to your writing style. It is also recommended for left-handed users. Another key feature is the “Natural Fit Grip,” designed with two gentle flat surfaces that naturally fit your fingers.
The body and cap are made from recycled polycarbonate, finished with a vacuum-deposited aluminum layer and coated for a metallic appearance. The grip uses a resin blended with metal powder and is finished with a matte coating, giving it a smooth, dry texture. Its low center of gravity provides stable writing.
This fountain pen combines a metallic feel with practical functionality.
The base model, the TUZU ADJUST Fountain Pen, received the Excellence Award in the Function Category at the 2024 Japan Stationery Awards.

- After use, close the cap tightly and store properly.
- If not used for an extended period, remove the ink and clean the pen.
